Our miniature pigs are due to give birth any day now! They will not be available until they're 8 weeks old. All will be vaccinated & dewormed. All male piglets will be neutered by our licensed veterinarian, unless requested to stay intact. Prices vary based on their breed, color, sex, litter training & additional costs like vet bills. To reserve a piglet we require a $100 non-refundable deposit, which is deducted from the final price. Piglets that aren't reserved will go to select events & be sold, hence the importance of placing a holding fee because you'll be out of luck on a possible pig of your liking.
Breeders will tell you all about their teacup or micro pigs (all are deceptive labels), and others will tell you that none of those even exist. Some will give you a weight guarantee, others will give height guarantees. These animals are really potbellied pigs who are deliberately malnourished so that they remain smaller for falsely advertising as being “micro". It’s even possible for a pig to get a grandparent’s gene and end up unexpectedly larger than both parents. DO NOT BE FOOLED, there are no guarantees on pig sizes but I can provide you with the parents' sizes. People who discover that their full-grown “teacup” pig will actually weigh 100 pounds or more either choose or are forced to abandon them. Most of which end up in overburdened shelters or are euthanized once they outgrow their suburban habitats. It's dumb really, these are simply what you would call a miniature pig. A smaller version of a pig like any other miniature animal. You will never have one the size of a house cat.
Our piglets stay with their momma in a climate controlled hut until they are eating feed. Then the babies are moved into a piglet nursery. We have a Juliana & miniature piglet nursery both inside & out of our home. The nursery is where they'll be potty trained using litter boxes. We use bedding pellets as litter, so for easy transition, when brought to their new home it's best to start with that so they're not out of routine. Some people want them as an inside pet, the Julianas & miniature pigs are best for it.
Please note that we have a lifetime guarantee on all julianas & american mini piglets ! If you're ever in a position to have to give up your pig, no matter the age, we will gladly take them back for the entirety of its life, with the expectation that we will try to find a suitable home! Please do not take them to a rescue where they have a high chance of being euthanized.
This is P Daddy, our pure Juliana boar! He's the current father of all of our Juliana & miniature piglets. He's 2 years old & is about 40 lbs and 14 inches tall. For size reference, he's about the size of my small/medium terrier who is 30 lbs. Though, he is about an inch taller & longer. He's much easier to wool around than the ladies! He's quite the lady tamer ;)
